The proposal for the Eastern zone of the masterplan of Cascina Merlata consisted of the introduction of two residential typologies with different geometric & massing characteristic. The low rise blocks on the west will create a linear protective container overlooking the central park and the pedestrian zone, the relatively low height of the buildings will guarantee a human urban scale for the surrounding. The tower typology on the west will stand out on the site edge, the upper floors will enjoy a pleasant panorama view over the center of Milan.
