The spa and resort on the Southern outskirts of the capital Tirana, near Elbasan town, is designed to better fit the particular topography of the terrain, the public functions of the resort has been located North on the lower side of the land, those functions include the entrance lobby & parking area, check-in and public pools for day-use, whereas on the Southern side of the land, where the high terrain provides a complete privacy for the suits & rooms, the private Spa and the outdoor pools, while still overlooking a magnificent panorama of the surrounding forest and the open pools. The stacked volumes interconnect and split to form a harmonious composition of solids and voids, permitting the open patios and corridors to enjoy a direct visual axis with the nature surrounding the complex.
