The renovation project for the private apartment located in Via Ampére 63 in Milan (Città Studi area) aimed at meeting the client's primary desire; to have a very spacious living room despite the small size of the apartement. The most important design decision was to open a large full-height passage between the living room and the second room/home office in order to amplify the living room size and illumination quality. The large sliding door guaranteed the possibility of dividing the rooms when necessary and making the second room/home office a distinct environment.
